Magnolia Advanced Materials Attracts Top Aerospace Talent
Magnolia Advanced Materials, Inc., a leader in advanced aerospace materials innovation, today announced the addition of new Ph.D.-level chemists to its team, strengthening the company’s scientific leadership and reinforcing its commitment to innovation as it enters 2026.
President & CEO Wayne Tanner emphasized that Magnolia continues to build its organizational talent to accommodate aerospace industry demands and reach its goal of being the best high-performance epoxy company in the world.
Magnolia’s industry leading Atlanta operation has some of the highest Ph.D. recruitment growth in the industry, with chemists educated at Georgia Institute of Technology; Carnegie Mellon University; Emory University; Michigan State University; University of California, Berkeley; Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and many others. Magnolia attracts and hires the best in the industry.
Magnolia’s products are used by virtually all commercial aircraft manufacturers in the world, as well as on United States military equipment, including high-performance aircraft and ordnance. Its epoxy is on the way to Mars in the vacuum of space.
The company’s newest hires include Emily Ryan, Ph.D., from Georgia Tech, and Michael Bautista, Ph.D., from Carnegie Mellon University, who join fellow epoxy chemists Anthony Chirillo, John Chiao, Ph.D., and many others. They are led by a 40-year aerospace industry veteran, Technical Director Greg Bunn. The team is unsurpassed in customer-product knowledge, service and innovation.
