During the session, South Metro Rising: Bold Moves and Breakthroughs, Sarah-Elizabeth Langford, Executive Director, Develop Fulton, outlined accelerated infrastructure investments, strategic public-private partnerships driving jobs, capital investment that are increasing economic density in Fulton County.

Individual Income Tax: Individual Income Tax collections in January totaled nearly $1.57 billion, down from a total of roughly $1.59 billion in fiscal year 2025, for a decrease of $27.4 million, or 1.7%.

Based on nearly 6,000 responses from employed residents across the 20-county region, the survey finds commute times are an average of five minutes shorter, and telework and non-traditional schedules have increased, contributing to congestion being spread more evenly throughout the day compared to the 2019 commuter survey.
