The 3- and 4-story historic brick structures, recognizable by huge painted signs that say Cut Rate Box Co. and Welcome to Atlanta, are landmarks in Southwest Atlanta, with high visibility from MARTA trains running between downtown Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Local leaders and the Georgia DOT team reviewed the status of key projects, discussed current and anticipated challenges, and outlined how these investments will enhance safety, mobility, and economic growth throughout Henry County.

More than three decades ago, the Centennial Farm program was created to draw attention to historic farms and to encourage preservation.
“If we want to continue to be the number one state in which to do business, we must foster a business-friendly climate,” Jones said. “We have to work together to ensure that we put families and consumers first by tackling the hidden costs we all pay thanks to Georgia’s current tort laws.”
The training program involves three distinct partners: Stow, Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Georgia Quick Start. Each partner will be responsible for the successful completion of the program.

By some estimates, the United States will need an additional four million homes by 2030 to meet demand. In Georgia alone, it is estimated that over 365,000 additional homes will be needed statewide.
Located southeast of Atlanta in Macon-Bibb County, the planned facility is designed to host various multipurpose events like minor league hockey, basketball games, high school tournaments, concerts, conferences, trade shows, and more.
The new college will serve as the academic home for students in associate degree programs, interdisciplinary bachelor’s degrees, dual enrollment, ROTC, Continuing and Professional Education, and a variety of minors, centers and academic pathways.
